I got it installed, and the monitor calibrated. Also it says I need to disable Adobe Gamma in the start-up folder, but I have nothing in my start-up folder and I cannot seem to find how to edit start-up programs on Vista (this is my first Vista PC). It appears that the install of the "updated" version worked, so we'll see. I have an ATI Radeon 3450 256Mb gfx card. One of the things it says it to make sure that hardware accel is to full, I don't know of any computer that I've ever worked on that it isn't full from the start, but mine says that I cannot make changes to it because of the drivers. I suspect the version of the software you're attempting to install does not support your operating system. I would suggest that you go to Datacolor's website and download the latest software: I bought a Spyder 2 Express put the CD in the drive and I am prompted with "Error Accessing the System Registry" then "Unexpected Error, quitting".ĭoes anyone here have any experience with this particular device or error? I've racked my brain against the wall and I cannot seem to come up with an answer. I am using Windows Vista Home 32bit on a Dell 518 w/ a q6600 and 4 gigs of ram. Spyder 2 Express, cannot access registry.
